Let’s face it, there are events in Colorado you must see. Things to do this week in Colorado is a comprehensive list that sorts Colorado events taking place on any given week. Don’t know what to do or where to go? This page is chock full of ideas of things to do in Colorado. A-Basin - 25th Annual Enduro, April 16, 2014. An endurance event that only A-Basin could bring you: teams of two take laps up the Pallavicini (Pali) chair and either ski or ride down the mountain on designated trails from 7am to 5pm without stopping. 72 runs is the record.

A-Basin - Beach'N Egg Hunt, April 20, 2014, The Easter Bunny visits A-Basin for an egg hunt that both skiing and non-skiing kids can enjoy! Kids on skis will head to one of our green (beginner) trails to search for eggs, and those who wish to hunt on foot will search in our learning spaces near the base area.

Aspen - Schneetag, April 20, 2014, This hilarious event is one not to miss. The 6th annual Schneetag event (pronounced Sch-knee Tog) invites teams of four to create a craft that they will pilot down a slope at Spider Sabich and attempt to float across a 30x20 foot pond. Every team has a theme and will perform a skit before they descend. This event is just as ridiculous and entertaining as it sounds. Prizes included a trip to the Summer X Games in Los Angeles, tickets to a Colorado Rockies game in Denver and tickets to Rock Jam.

Beaver Creek - Easter Egg Hunt, April 19, 2014, If you're around for easter weekend, come join us at Creekside Park just below the main village where 3,000 easter eggs will be hidden for the youngsters to search out, plus a special appearance from the Easter Bunny. So bring the little ones and your camera to capture the great memories!

Copper Mountain - The Color Run at Copper Mountain, April 19, 2014, Along with the 2014 Kaleidoscope Tour, The Color Run is proud to present its first 5k snow run on April 19! Taking place on a manicured snow path through Copper Mountain, runners can expect a slightly more demanding event. Be prepared for higher altitude challenges, a few small rolling hills and a snow packed course. You don't want to miss this premier event!

Copper Mountain - Color Me Copper, April 19-20, 2014, Closing weekend festivities will include Colorado's largest egg hunt that will warm your heart and fill your baskets.

Crested Butte & Durango - Western Slope Freedom Fest, April 18-20, 2014, Crested Butte, Ridgway, Durango. The WSFF tour begins at the Powerhouse in Crested Butte 7pm on Friday April 18, 2014, with Fractalia opening for Pato Banton, who will headline all 3 shows. Then to Ridgway 4H Center for an expo & concert starting at 5pm on Saturday April 19th with opening Band Funkdafari. The last stop is in Durango at the Animas City Theater at 7pm on 4/20 with opening band Eldergrown.

Loveland Ski Area - Corn Harvest Benefit Ski Party, April 26, 2014. Loveland Ski Area is excited to host the 13th annual Corn Harvest benefit ski party for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. The Colorado Avalanche Information Center plays a much bigger role in your skiing safety than you might think. Not only is this organization an invaluable source for backcountry travelers, but anyone who has driven on I-70 have the CIAC to thank in part for their safe travels along this highway. Come show your support for this amazing organization. Meet in the Basin Lodge the morning of to register. Packages that include lift ticket, lunch, New Belgium Beer, raffle, and donation will be available. Stay tuned for package pricing information. Meet up with Loveland locals as they show some of the secret stashes and best parts of the mountain. The BBQ lunch kicks off at 11:30am so you can refuel for the afternoon. Live music begins on the Basin Patio at 2:30pm as the New Belgium Beer begins to flow! The Corn Harvest raffle, which starts at 3:30, is not to be missed as sponsors throw down big with these prizes, so make sure you stock up on extra raffle tickets!

Loveland Ski Area - Ski With a Ranger Day, April 26, 2014. The US Forest Service and Loveland Ski Area team up to host Ski with a Ranger Day! Join a Forest Service Snow Ranger for a fun, free, and easy run centered around the relationships between Loveland and the land we all enjoy so much. Topics include glacial geology, winter ecology, local history, and partnerships and are suited for all ages (recommended for ages 8+). Simply meet at Ptarmigan Roost Cabin at the top of Chair 2 at either 10:30am or 1:30pm for a run with the Snow Ranger (plan to get there 15 minutes early.

Garage Rats Car Club will host the Annual Car Show attracting more than 60 cars and trucks. Traditional carnival games continue throughout the day at Coal Creek Park. Hot Air Balloons launch at 6:15 am, weather permitting, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The launching is open to the public. “Crew” volunteers for the balloons are always welcomed.
