Keystone events make up a big part of all the events taking place in Summit County, Colorado. Each summer and winter, Keystone events focus on family fun, food, beer, wine and adventure. In the summer, the Keystone River Run Village comes alive just about every weekend with themed festivals. The season kicks off in June with the Bacon Fest. Bacon fest is exactly what it sounds like – a plethora of bacon prepared munchies sure to satisfy the palate. Another Keystone event taking place in the summer is the Jazz and wine festival. The mixture of top notch jazz performers and top shelf wine in the open air of Keystone Village during the summer is an experience thousands flock to each year. Keystone also offers great lodging deals during these festivals so you don’t have to worry about driving.
In the winter, Keystone events center around the holidays like Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Mardi Gras, President’s Weekend, St, Patrick’s Day, New Years Eve and the spring. One the more popular signature winter Keystone events is the Winter Bluegrass festival in February. There’s also the River Run gumbo cook off that takes place in the village during the Mardi Gras party.
