Off the Beaten Path
It’s not called a beaten path for nothing and getting off the beaten path is something a lot of us strive to do daily. Sure, it’s great to spend time at a big event everyone wants to be at. But sometimes you want to get away from traffic, the populous and noise. In Colorado you can find that nook filled with entertainment, family fun, small town friendly hosts and dark skies loaded with stars you feel you can touch.
A lot of Colorado communities are tucked away like a treasure waiting to be discovered. They may not be big enough to be considered resorts in Colorado, but they still pack a punch featuring signature events that include free concerts, rodeos, holiday parades, BBQ festivals, agriculture fests, art festivals, car shows, burro races, river festivals, sports events and so much more. You’ll continue to be amazed at what Colorado has to offer when you take the road less traveled and visit one of these towns off the beaten path.
