Bike events in Colorado take place all year and they're about as popular as Colorado's ski - snowboard events. Bike events take place in the summer and winter. In the winter Leadville's winter mountain bike series takes place around the central mountains and Crested Butte's Fat Bike World Campionships take place in January. But it's in the summer when biking in Colorado flourishes. If you're not a pro, but think you got what it takes to ride with the pack, the season starts off with the Fruita Fat Tire Festival in April then keeps on going with signature biking events like the Leadville 100, The Iron Horse Bicycle Classic, the Triple By Pass and so many more.
