Several of Santa’s helpers dress up like him take over street and slopes for special Colorado Christmas events you must see to believe.  The Santa races on Breckenridge's Main Street take place during the Lighting of Breckenridge. The Santa Ski Crawl takes place at Crested Butte when they try to break the record for the most Santa skiers.

Many ski resorts load their slopes up with skiers carrying torchlights. They descend the slope in marching formation creating designs you’ll only see in that setting.
