Rocky Mountain National Park is the third most visited national park in the US.

       Communities in Northern Colorado are connected by the major highways CO34, I-25, Co36. The communities in this area are within 30 to 90 minutes of each other and Denver as well. Each city is also anchored by classical downtown Main Streets where many community events, free concerts, farmers markets and art festivalS take place.

      Northern Colorado events highlight a highly cultural region of Colorado. Several art galleries and festivals take place in just about every town. You can also expect to see top notch classical music at the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder every summer. The region is also saturated with musical venues featuring the best touring and Colorado bands.

      Signature events that take place in Northern Colorado include the Greeley Stampede featuring concerts and a pro rodeo. Bohemian Nights free music festival in Downtown Fort Collins takes place in August. The Boulder Creek Festival takes place over Memorial Day in Downtown Boulder. Estes Park hosts the Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival in early September featuring jousting and lots of Celtic music.

      Northern Colorado is also home to Colorado University in Boulder, Colorado State University in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado University in Greeley.
