Film on the Rocks is one of Colorado's most popular outdoor movies venue during the summer and another way to experience how special Red Rocks is, but that's not your only option when it comes to spending a summer evening outside with the family. Colorado still has drive-ins but many parks and resorts pull out the big screen for a free outdoor movie. What to bring: jackets, lawn chairs, blankets. Some venues sell snacks and beverages so check first before you pack a cooler. It's probably a good idea to keep the smoke at home.
