"Join us on the morning of Saturday, July 6th at the beautiful Sloans Lake in Denver for International Hearing Dog's 8th Annual Walk, Run & Wag 5K. This event is for all fitness levels to join as we Walk, Run & Wag for IHDI! Have a four legged companion? The event is fully dog friendly!
The morning will start with the race beginning at 8:00am followed by pet-friendly vendors, food trucks, photo booths, and puppy pools! A few vendors you can look forward to visiting with include Teton Waters Ranch, Wag On Project, Cosmo's Dog Bakery, Pet Wants Denver, Double Dog Dare Toys, and City Bark! You can expect the event to wrap up and vendors begin to dismiss at 11:00am.

Packet pick-up will take place at Joyride Brewing on Thursday, July 20th from 5:00-8:00pm as well as Saturday, July 22nd from 12:00-3:00pm. During packet pickup you are able to also enjoy BOGO drinks deals at Joyride!

All the funding from Walk, Run & Wag goes to giving people that are deaf or hard-of-hearing the safety and independence of a Hearing Dog. In what is often a lonely and isolating world, Hearing Dogs give their recipient freedom and confidence - and completely free of charge. We invest $15,000 in the care, training, and placement of every dog but give the dog to the recipient for free.The mission of International Hearing Dog, Inc. is to train dogs to assist persons who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, with and without multiple disabilities, at no cost to the recipient. All the dogs in our program are rescues from high kill shelters and numerous other local rescues. Today, IHDI staff and volunteers have saved and trained more than 1,300 shelter dogs to assist individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing. These dogs have found homes in all 50 states of the United States and Canada."
