Ready for a laugh-inducing, edge-of-your-seat, heart-opening night of stories? Where you or the person next to you could take home the prize for best story? We’ll bring a hat (for you to put your name in), the theme, some music, and a microphone. You bring the stories. There will be a time limit (5 minutes) and a winner. (That’s right — competitive storytelling. The audience votes for the best story.) Hosted by Johanna Walker, co-producer of Truth Be Told, a previous version of Boulder’s Story Slam, and guest host Jeff Howard, therapist, performer and story enthusiast. Shanna in a Dress, a local singer/songwriter who combines witty, heartfelt songwriting with great musicianship, will round out the night with musical interludes.
So lean in, open your heart, grab a friend and show up to BOULDER’S STORY SLAM ON NOVEMBER 17, 7pm.
Let’s tell some stories!
The theme for the night is BAGS.
If you have a story in any way related to BAGS, come put your name in the hat.
If you don’t want the mic this time, just come listen to a great night of storytelling.
PLEASE NOTE: Johanna will be teaching a storytelling workshop for anyone interested in one day putting their name in the hat. Wednesday, November 6, 6-8pm. CLICK HERE

Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts at 7pm.
