We're celebrating everything awesome and shitty about being in love with two shows from Pulitzer prize-winning playwrights this February. It’s a Valentine’s season for everyone. For our lovers, we’re presenting Sam Shepard’s Savage/Love, a stream of consciousness “concerto” on love. For our haters, we’re presenting David Mamet’s Sexual Perversity in Chicago, which Time dubbed a “sleazy sonata of seduction.” Come fall in love with Audacious Theatre this February.
A Valentine's Event For The Lovers & The Haters
Savage/Love By Sam Shepard
This show is for the lovers. A poetic, stream of consciousness performance piece featuring a romantic collection of universal moments depicting the joys and longings of being in love.
Featuring Logan Custer, Meredith Karre, Bethany Richardson & Ronan Viard
Sexual Perversity in Chicago
By David Mamet
This show is for the haters. From the author of Glengarry Glenross comes another profanity-laced story set in 1970s Chicago. This meditation on sex, love, and relationships follows a summer fling from beginning to end. Featuring Logan Custer, Rya Dyes, Maya Ferrario & Eric Tofsted
