Yorktown Film Premiere

Start Date:
November 14, 2017
End Date:
November 14, 2017

Yorktown is the story of Milo, a talented but destructive lead singer played by Nate Cook of The Yawpers, who plays a round of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll in Denver's coke-fueled underground to save music after he's dropped from his record label and his wife divorces him. Proof of concept. Bottom line, Yorktown is raucous, sweaty, and it'll have you on the ground in stitches, but if you want to get all deep and stuff, it's really a story about flawed artists standing their creative ground in the face of commercialism. It's about identity, friends, and rolling with the punches. In many ways, Milo's story is that of any creative or anyone with an intense passion - an uphill battle, but the right one to fight. This film is an original Denver production, and the screening is the World Premiere! Plus, it's FREE!! Not many things in life are free, so please bring anyone and everyone you know to come check out and support the growing Denver film scene. Written, Directed, and Produced by Kevin Hu
